hmm makes me kinda wonder weather i should have test drove version 1 before getting version 2. this has made me curious.
though id imagine if you got a k04 it would solve the top end issues anyway

do any of you have a boost gauge ?? if so what does your boost peak and then hold at in psi, mine can peak to 15psi and holds bout 12-13 and in 4th or 5th holds at 14psi , by the way i have a custom map but was just wondering as never had apr! Also the boost drops at 5000rpm to 10psi hold ??

Had a boost gauge fitted (read in bar though) so will need to do the conversion.

    APR V1 boost peaked at 1.4bar (20psi) (very occasionally 1.5bar (22psi)) and settled to 0.9bar (13psi)sustained in 3rd gear

After tuning the Forge diverter I got it to settle at almost 1.1bar (16psi) sustained after the initial peak.

400km is actually quite good .... I quite often got 350km or less on a tank when driving enthusiastically around town. Got 29l/100km at Morgan Park Raceway and often 5.7l/100km cruising close to the speed limit on the open road. Talk about extremes ......

So I got myself a Polo GTI on Wednesday and took it down to European Autotech yesterday and had the APR ECU update put on it. I had no idea there are now two versions though. I wonder which one I ended up with? Is there any way for me to tell ?!

Is that definite that Derek will have put on V2 ? I only ask because when I had mine chipped in December I'm pretty sure that Derek put V1 on it. There's nothing on the receipt that states what version.

Is there a way for you to look it up for me on the APR database Guy ?

400 a tank!?! I don't think I'd see more than 300... Guess my suburban driving style is more for entertainment than frugal transport requirement...
