Ive had abit of a chat too a few experts off the forum.

And its been very mixed up results.

Alot say red. Alot say blue.

They came to the conclusion that apparently i suit blue better?? lol.

They all think the v2 would get too 100 quicker. (with traction). And That the v1 would have a higher top speed.

Not my graph people, they are Eddy's who as FMIC and full turbo back exhaust amongst other things (sorry for the confusion). Although my graph will hopefully look like that, only higher, soon

Depends where you shift I think, but you're talking fractions of a second here. Try it, if you like it then keep it, else have it changed back to V1. That's my plan anyway!!

I have the V2 and have seriously never looked back to V1. I find the higher and more aggressive low end torque on the V2 to be far superior to that of V1 which is quite weak until the revs get up. When I had V1, I noticed that the car 'surged' a fair bit if you weren't careful on the throttle.... this has pretty much been forgotten about with V2, the power delivery is smooooooth the whole way through.

To be honest, I hated the top end dying off and that was a big downfall for me, but since the addition of the BMC filter and SEAT intake, it feels strong the whole way through now. I would like to see the comparison of V1 vs V2 from my car now.

One other downfall is fuel consumption has risen noticeably....I'm guessing from that extra toque in the lower end it needs more fuel.

Finally, GT3 (Neil) will confirm this but his car dyno'd on V2 with 360+Nm (with basic mods i think). Compared to V1's quoted 328Nm that's pretty darn impressive and I would imagine would make for a slightly faster 0-100km/h.

    Hoyhoy.

Kai, me is fairly sure that if you got the V2 you won't go back to V1, I would put a beer on it.
Have another look at the graph which was the first install of V2, the KW's re-cross each at 7000rpm. To me the top end didn't change too much at all, but the bottom end has grown some balls, 2000rpm it starts & at 2500 its ALL there with awesome torque. My thoughts are that it is that good that Guy (APR) has may be lost some KO4 sales.
This only my conclusion & I'm an old silly fart.

Since Forge TIP install and APR Diverter Valve at the same time (ECS High perfrmance clutch as well but wouldn't have an effect) I have noticed no die off in power after 6000rpm on V2...............nice!!

Ill probably give it a go. Wouldnt supprise me if i was the first to go back to V1 tho. Ill dyno before and after same day. Ill do a few tests too which will give a cool bit of data.
Mate, your not the first to go back to V1..

I had V2 and this is my honest opinion.. It may have a higher average power but the characteristics dont suit the car as well as V1. We dont have the traction for the low down squirt and when it gets traction its not making as much power as V1. Why do you want a tune that smokes the tyres down low and finally when you get traction, it has no top end?

Yeah its punchy coming out of corners etc but in a straight line, I reckon V1 is faster.. I went back.. Whats the point of having an exhaust/intake etc for more top end and the tune isnt taking full advantage..

Maybe if we get better tyres V2, otherwise V1

    Hoyhoy.

Me have a diff as well, along with Yoky's Advan, Neova AD07s, so that probably helps to.

Can you get both V1 and V2 programs installed? It would be cool to be able to switch between them depending on what kind of driving you were doing.

I think V2 sounds better for everyday use, and V1 sounds better for track...

No you can't get both installed....it's one or the other.

As for being better on the track, it really depends on the track.

If the track is windy, V2 is much better as it has the better lower end power delivery out of corners. If you're in the Indianapolis 500 going flat stick and not touching the brake pedal, go with V1 as it is gives you the higher top end.
