Kai, havent gone back to v1 and for daily driving/spirited driving v2 seems better through more low rev torque whereas v1 has slightly more oomph in the higher rev range
Haven't really had much time to get it put in..
What is everyones opinion on APR V2.
Does the car feel faster?
Does it feel like its got more torque?
For the more spirited drivers. Do you like it in the mountains?
Has anyone gone back to V1.
thankssssssss!
yeah losing that top end is what i was worried about. From a few posts ive seen most people did mention it. So it is obviously noticeable.
Ill probably give it a go. Wouldnt supprise me if i was the first to go back to V1 tho. Ill dyno before and after same day. Ill do a few tests too which will give a cool bit of data.
Definate top end loss.
Dyno's:
(Blue is V1 and red is V2)
That is exactly what i was after. Didnt realise someone had done it already. sweet.
I tend to like the v2 version suits the car well and feels good.
Would be interesting to see some solid 0-100 times on both.
All depends what you want out of the car i guess.
each to there own.
some 1/4 mile times would be nice.. probably the real indication to show which one is better.
but in terms of daily commuting, the v2 seems more reasonable!
think i might stick with v1 for now, as my cars topend seems to be average anyway.. i don't want to sacrifice anymore lol
I've only ever had the V2, but I don't often find myself red-lining the revs.
Looking at the Power curve, I guess that explains why...
I'm hoping with a little extra breathing, the top end will extend out better (that's what I hear on the grape vine).
