If you're paying $850 for coil, they are not going to be Bilstein / Koni / KW quality no matter what brand... I doubt many would pick the difference between Brand X and Brand y $850 coils

Car audio is in the ****ter at the moment cause no one support local retailers anymore, and buy everything off the internet!!!

What are you talking about? of course they are not going to be as good as a product costing double or even triple.

I don't see why one brand at a price point cant be better than another, do you have any experience here?

Hmm interesting thread but just remember guys, which ever one choose, you'll still have to cough up anywhere between $300-500 for install and personally, if cheap coilovers at $850 a pop that possibly may fail soon (who knows?) it can get real expensive cause warranty doesn't cover fitting costs so might just end paying much more than you had bargained for. Just my 2 cents worth as bad things have happened to me in the past so I tend to stay away from cheap brands. I believe in the so called Murphy's law whereby "anything that can go wrong WILL go wrong".

There was a big debait on coilovers in the Mk3 section I think it was.

Guess there is a difference between spending $850 on a $6000 car and a $25,000 car
