anyone who can give advice on ko4 install!

    Hey Guys,

Im going to be installing a KO4 on the polo soon.

Myself and a mate will be doing it to keep us occupied

Although almost every time we start these kinds of projects, we ALWAYS hit some sort of problem.
So im just wondering if anyone can assist if they know little tricks to make the job easier.

Anything to also look out for during the install would be great.

    Cheers guys.

Make sure you have new studs gaskets and most importantly crush washers for the banjo fittings.

Sorry, can't add any value to your question. Though it may also be a good opportunity to write up a DIY for others who want to embark on the project.

Simple as this, same removal and install as Ko3. As someone has already said get your turbo to ex gasket, new washers, new stretch bolts, sealing washers for the oil and water pipes, prime yourself with the torque settings, with no manifold mods its not a bad job really, if you are doing it on the ground at home shade tree style then my opinion would be to drop your right hand side driveshaft to give yourself some room , the more room the merrier as you will see.
    Cheers
