it would take me longer to photoshop my car than to do it the old fashioned way definitely takes lots of practice and learning to be good at the photoshop thing

Here you go maris, what your car would look like on 18's scaled from your existing wheels (28% increase) and dropped on its guts on some type of coilovers. I think you should do it

I'm getting ideas from the pic of my car from above... dangerous ones...

Thx dave, at least somebody appreciates my abilities, unlike my stupid boss.

Well, i started in high school using the tools and the application to put my friends faces on movie posters etc. They were a real hoot, and looked relay professional by the end. Start with photoshop 7.0, just download it, and start with some online step by step projects they're realy good and gelpful if your interested!

THE GOOD THE BAD AND THE UGLY IS ON!!!

    enjoy maris!

Heres my wee beast - it had its windows tinted the other day by a friends friend, and im kinda disappointed. Theres a lot of air bubbles that are of substantial size all over, he said give it a week to settle but i think im just going to get him to remove them and take it elsewhere cos theres a few scratches im not too happy with either..

Maris, whatever it takes, do it! ..and to hell with the consequences I just can't get over how stunning your car is with big rims (and dropped), the transformation is gob-smacking! Well done Houso.

Hahaha I'm glad your liking it! Yeah, I didn't realise how good your car looks, particularity as its a 3 door. I'd get slightly different wheels due to my personal taste, but using those makes it look a bit more realistic...

18's are obviously to big, but this is make believe hahahaha, I'd go for a 17/7 inch, and some of those more affordable only height adjustable coil-overs for under a grand. But yes I know... its not your car, my mum has a sexy 2000 model black passat 1.8T with black leather and she refuses to do anything at all to it. Pity though, considering how good it can look.

    Huzzah more work!

I don't particularly like the wheels on our Polo, but, this whole Polo experience, like the Golf III, must be economical, as running two cars is very expensive (that is why I didn't put alloys on the Golf). In December I had register the Golf & the Polo ($1130 + Comprehensive for the Polo $340, and the water leak problem from the Golf III cost $1500). That money could have been spent elsewhere, like on the driveway to stop the Polo scrapping when coming in & out.

At least we seldom use both cars at the same time so we are only filling up one VW.

Golf Houso: your doing things the hard way, why try and shop out the car when you lower it when you can just lower the whole background??:
