does putting any of these mods on void the warranty?
Mines done about 25,000 clicks and I've had it for almost 2 yrs now. It was stock till about a few weeks ago until my curiousity got the better of me and I tried out the trial Revo tune. Needless to say...after the 5 hr trial was over I was back there in a hurry to get the full thing done.
Once you get flashed you won't wanna go back to stock. I promise you.![]()
Best $1500 I spent on my GTI.
I never planned to mod my car until I found out so much info about what I could do to it from this forum.

Yes mods void warranty.
I want to mod my polo but depending on when a newer model comes out depends on how long I keep it for. If I mod my polo the way I'd like to now, it wouldn't be a very wise use of cash. If I mod one brand new then the benefit I get is longer before I sell that car too.
So I've save up my spare change for it all, but just a matter of timing.
it only voids the warranty if that part that you modified has caused the problem. eg. if you put in a new stereo/speaker system and your gearbox dies, your gearbox will be covered, but whatever you pulled apart or changed from your stereo swapping, then it won't be covered. aka your door rattles after you installed your speakers...etc
Mines stock as a rock.![]()
Stock since Jan 18th 2008 and 5400K on clock. All good!
Mine is still stock.. after 31000km and I had the trial tune
More important things to spend money on has been a big barrier for me.. and the way rent / food / fuel is going up I will not be able to afford the tune anytime soon...
Least the stock car is still a good bit of gear![]()
