Another new member and Polo gti owner

    Hi all

Just recently found the site and I have enjoyed reading threads on the new Polo gti. I picked up my new gti on Saturday, having only test driven one several weeks ago. A very impressive little machine for the money with a lot of potential for upgrades.

I've attached a couple of pics.

Welcome! And congratulations on the buy. Can't go wrong with this little pocket rocket.

I like those rims! Suits the GTI well. How much did those set you back if you dont mind me asking?

Thanks for the welcome guys. I am really happy with the car and am looking forward to getting the APR tuning in the not too distant future. Maybe after a few thousand kms running it in.

Sidgti, the rims and new tyres were nearly $3k, I think it was about $440/rim and tyres nearly $300 each, less the trade-in of the standard rims and tyres.

    Cheers guys.

The wheels are optional VW, in the Polo gti brochure. Their name is 'Siata'.

I've attached another photo. It's the best I have at the moment. Will try and get a closer shot soon.

Everyone's entitled to their opinion william. That's what makes forums so interesting.

MR-GTI, I managed to crop a picture to give a more detailed look at the wheel. Hope it comes out ok.
