    ancillary gauges

What have you lot done for extra gauges, and where have you put them?

I'm thinking boost and oil temp; but unsure where to place the sender for the oil temp takeoff.

Do you have electric or mechanical ones?

Looking into stack gauges atm, but open to suggestions.

    Any help greatly appreciated

    Cheers

I went for a Saber electronic item mounted on my steering column.

I'd be interested to know too - I know a VDO oil PRESSURE (not temp) sender screws right onto the oil filter mount but not sure if there's enough room for it, it being that close to the radiator.

Changed the LED to a red one since, now everything on the centre console including the head unit light up red.

on the top of the oil filter housing is a little 4-5mm allen screw which i removed and replaced with the mini sender that i had to buy seperate from the temp gauge. i bought all my gear from 42draftdesign, i think it was this sender [http://www.42draftdesigns.com/catego...o/vc323423.htm]

they have how to on their site and i just followed the instruction from there. put a bit from thread tape, clean it up, run the wire into the car via the passenger door. works great esp when i went to the track.
