Trim the deflector, it does nothing but lower the noise output of the induction, sounds a bit nicer after cutting it

Looking at the design, even if pebbles got in there, they ain't going far

I didn't trim it, mainly because I didn't have the screwdriver head required to remove the housing. Maybe one day, but I'm pretty happy with the current sounds the car emits.
