    Do you even own a polo SoVeReIgN ?

    How much did it cost you for the dump pipe + cat ?

    Nope I don't, way too small for my liking.

    The A3 however, has an almost identical mechanical setup. (Same engine, gearbox, etc etc)

    Funny you say that Dave. If you look at the Polo GTI from various angles, you can see a fair bit of A3 there in the design (not just mechanicals). Size-wise, not sure the A3 is significantly bigger than the Polo. ..even though this has nothing to do with dump-pipes

    I paid $300 for the pipe + cat and $100 for a stiffer rear engine mount to make sure the engine didn't move under heavy acceleration and hit the pipe.

    (Apparently can happen when you go 3" on A3s/Golfs - Don't know if polos would have similar problems)

    I haven't had any knocking problems on the A3 but I fitted uprated bushes in the dog bone before the exhaust and dp went on.

    Cost me 1600 from the turbo back including the sport cat.

    It's just a replacement pipe...perhaps the original was....er...leaking

    So i gather my insurrance is probably voided...
