I'll do you the 240hp.
Yesterday I had the coolest idea for a 9N3 Polo R project and I'm wondering who is crazy enough to try it...
First off - complete respray in Rising Blue.
Cup Edition body kit (minus the spoiler)
17" Oz Aristos (Cup Edition wheels)
Tuned to 240bhp (R32 power output)
R Styling (Badges, sill protectors, steering wheel, engine cover)
Twin Exhausts in the MK4 R32 style (one on each side)
Maybe even lose the GTI grille and go chrome slats with R badge.
Retrimmed, Heated Leather 'R' Seats.
It's kind of a crazy project, that isn't that crazy - you'd make a unique, one of a kind car with not really much outlay if you have the right connections for parts and labour. The wheels are probably the hardest to find (trust me I've tried), but you could replicate with some 17" Borbet LS' or similar.
Opinions?
I think I might see how far I can stretch my budget...

Who!? I want to see photos!
And Gavin - don't worry I'll be coming to you for that tune very shortly, custom downpipe soon, then going to get a replacement clutch just in case and then I'm ready to book in. I've got a forge FMIC too that's on and ready to handle that extra boost!

Yeah that's one nice polo, but it isn't Rising Blue! And I couldn't see any pics of what I assume were 18" Aristos, 17's are rarer

Regarding wheels, if you are after 17" R32 replicas (Aristo), try Rochford Tyres (UK) or Performancealloys (Irl). They no longer display them on their sites, but it might be worth an email to see if they can still get hold of them.
If it's Polo Cup wheels you're after, their Australian model name was 'R Line', but search 'Areitta' on Ebay.com, or just Google and I'm sure you'll find what you're after.
Hope this helps...
Cheers man - that does help, wasn't able to find a set of Arietta's for sale, and they're still slightly different to the Aristos that came on the cup edition. Those Borbet LS' I was talking about are only $800 new for a set of 4 and obviously Borbet have got a great reputation in the Dub scene so they'd be a good option.
