Could I even go as big as 323mm? I could then get the MK1 Cupra R Brembo Discs which look incredible.

If you don't need the bigger brakes, you are just adding unsprung weight. The 312mm rotors are not light.

I don't think it's much to worry about though really. My priorities have always been aesthetics over performance, hence why the car is still untuned. It sounds so lame I know!

VR6 Golfs had 288s and came with 15s, don't take it as gospel that any 15 will fit though.

Pretty sure that one of the 6R GTi guys (Gambit?) fitted some to his car and they have the same brake setup.
