I understand the front pads for the Ferodo DS2500 is FCP1419H. Does anyone know what the rear part number is? Anyone reckon I should buy both front and rears?

ask each work shop what they are doing for the price. If it's just to install pads, no fluid change or machining of rotors (which wil cost that price each rotor), it is a very straight forward process, so if they're doing the same job, the cheaper of the two should be fine. I'd like to think it'd be quite difficult to cock up one bolt and installing pads. For 2500's are a performance pad so may take a little getting used to cold performance compared to factory pads. If you also drive like a grandpa, you risk glazing pads so don't be shy to give them a hard time every now and then - they'll certainly take a flogging.
I'll put a challenge out there. I've called almost every brake place and I can't seem to find the Ferodo DS2500 FCP1419H pads. I was advised for light track use, you can still use the Ferodo DS Performance. Does anyone have this pad, and if so, your thoughts?
I was also looking at EBC Redstuff. Everyones thoughts please?
I'm running QFM AR1's on the front, they bite well. Much cheaper than the equivalent Ferodo.
The front does get a lot more use than the rear, I would not be too concerned about leaving the back stock, it has not been an issue with my 312 setup.
It was interesting to find out that the polo gti had Ferodo for stock pads. Anyone else notice this?
Stock pads are pretty useless, they are nothing like the performance pads made by the same company. 2 different markets.
