SEAT intake for me is a couple of weeks off arriving. Car is being flashed on Saturday morning so hopefully put it on the dyno some time after that.
haha, who talked you into a flash since yesterday??

Are you bringing the polo to Jmac's dyno day?

Quite likely, hahaha no one talked me into it, always wanted one but I am getting it at a very reasonable price so it makes sense getting it now.

good to know that the mufflerectomy opens up a wee bit more power, evaded.

a dump + mufflerectomy should then allow for a noticeable seat-of-the-pants change.

Yeah I just had a quote done up for a mild steel system and a stainless system, Looking at $900 in mild steel including dump, cat and muffler and $1250 in Stainless with the same in 2.5"

Just posted a group buy thread, I had a chat to the guys about the exhaust and they are willing to do it at the same price for you as they do for me.

    Anyone else interested?

Will sort out pricing for the different things people want once I have a bit more of an idea.

Well had the car Flashed on Saturday morning and proceeded to head to the drags that night.

Car was weighing probably 50-60kg heavier than when I raced it last time (more fuel and far more stuff cluttering the car)

Weather conditions were fairly similar however from memory I think this time the weather conditions were more humid.

Anyway previously the car managed a 16.86 however most runs were in the low 17 region.

This time out the car ran a 16.11 so probably a high 15 in it with a few more runs and in the right conditions a high 15 would be fairly easily attainable. The next thing on the cards is a SEAT intake and full exhaust.

Nice result!! Took a second off your time with a flash.. I'd be pretty happy with that.

that's not bad, considering our 1st gears are good for a whopping ~40km/h, and we're pushing high 3rd @ 105km/h.
