Corrections 
, The front calipers on the S3 etc are in fact the same part as the MK4 GTI, it only the caliper brackets that turn them into 312mm. The Golf is 288mm.
Its important to know that the std Polo calipers will NOT fit the S3 brackets.

Some oldAudis had them, nothing in the MK4 chassis did.

I read somewhere that S2 calipers were twin piston. Think I read it in a 6N track car blog- are they even available?
Oh and he was able to fit them under VR6 BBS 15's!

i think they fit under 16's but dont seem to have that good a reputation, the S2's from reading were under braked.
I'm away for work, so will be back for the weekend to get a few more km's up over the weekend and bed in the pads and seals
