Mazda 929 (92 model) --> passed down to me by the olds. Remained stock and was sold due to expensive upkeep with constant issues with timing belt.

Mazda 3 Maxx Sport (2006 model) --> written off on Feb 6th at about 3:00am, 2007. The mod bug bite started after week one when the car wasnt responding fast enough. Before I knew it I had tried the K&N panel filter, AEM CAI, Injen CAI, and an American SRI. In between this, custom exhaust system (which went through a total of 3 alterations to keep noise down, and performance up). King springs, Whiteline Sways, Summit strut brace, Auto Gauge gauges (which went through 5 variations with the 5th completed the night the vehicle was written off), doof and an assortment of asthetical items on the interior.

    * Jon misses previously missed this car more than I do (I think) and was horrified at what had happened the morning he took me to the holding yard to get my personal belongings out

Now, I'm happy with the Polo and the more I think about it, the more I hated the Mazda 3.

you forgot to add worst handling car on the road! haha..

    1977 ke30.

1.2l, no power, 4sp manual. Nasty understeer on 155/13 retreads. Body roll up the wazoo.

Mods: Pioneer CD player and 6*9s + amp up the back, home made fabric strap door handles, big front bumper from a later model after I ran up the back of someone.

Loved it until it rusted its way to the wreckers

yeah i looked into swapping a 4age/4agze in the corolla, but figured the car would start to rust pretty soon so wouldnt be worth it

mine also had a 3speed slush box limit the acceleration further

still, the tyres are so skinny its easy to fish tail in the wet even at low speeds

My first car... the most unreliable car ever!!

    1997 MGF VVC
    British racing green....

    TF 160 throttle body
    K&N 57i intake kit
    Front carbon fibre splitter
    Lowering knuckles
    Competition HT leads

Engine and variable valve control unit rebuilt due to cam gear falling out at around 39000km. This happened twice during my owner ship.
Headgasket failures are very common on these cars also which I didn't get chance to suffer!

Being midship great handling and awesome in summer nights..... was real nice looking back in 2000, but not looks a bit dated...

Had lots of fun in that car
    06 Polo GTI - REVO Stage 2 = 140kw @ wheels.
06 Golf GTI - Bluefin Stage 1 blacked out with ED30 theme, leather, xenon, etc.

Thats what I loved about my Corolla - flogging the arse off it felt like you were going 160kmh. Used to love going up to the council dump dirt road after work and perfecting my doughnuts, handbrakies and high speed (well, relatively) reverse to firsts. Used to go through a set of rear tyres every 3 days sometimes.

Red 1995 Holden Barina City 1.2L

    all 33kW and 86Nm of it....haha.

i bought it with a set of 'fully sick' CSA 14" rims.

after i had a bit of a prang i got the body colour-coded which made a huge improvement to looks (anything helped that car). along with that i debadged it and removed side decals.

this was my big stereo car in which i custom made a 15" sub box to fit the whole boot, which was filled with a Sony X-Plod 15 'pentagon series' subwoofer, attached to the box was a Coustic Monoblock Amp, Stinger competition wiring (0 gauge power cable), and then up front i had a VDO Dayton 52wx4 head unit and JVC competition splits.
i went in a sound-off in Rockhampton and pulled a 132dB if i remember correctly, which was ok i suppose for a single 15" on a small monoblock.

other mods included a K&N flat panel filter, custom made CAI, and Holden Sports exhaust.

this car was so much fun on the mountain runs (except going uphill ).....very good on tight corners as well.

    79 Ford Escort

It ran on 3 cylinders and if I was lucky, the 4th might decide to kick in. Max speed was about 88km/h, so freeways were out of bounds.

There's a road that I use to take home that consisted of about 400m down hill (about 20 degrees) and close 200m 45 degree uphill. It was a 50km/h zone, but there was no way that car could do it. I had to doing at least 70 if there was to be any chance of me making it up the other side.

3 speed auto and you could open up the car door with a 5 cent piece, but I still loved her.

My first car was a 1977 Mazda 323.

It had 13B bridgeport engine built by Bill Nabham, with 48mm Webbers and an RX7 5 speed box. Simmons wheels, half cage, and very stupid looking bonnet scoop. Cant remember all the details now it was a while ago.

The Polo GTI is my first VW and my first Euro car.
