MK4 (6n) Polo 1.6 suspension... whats out there?

im picking up my car tonight and i thought i may as well start researching suspension for the polo as this will be the first mod i will do.
should i start with decent springs to get rid of the horrible ride height and make it corner a bit flatter?
please contribute im open to all contributions.
    thanks in advance

im sure all the main suspension companies would make parts to suit.
If you wanna do springs first. Eibach are usually the go. But depending on budget. Theyre usually around $500 i think?

Only problem i see with tuning the polo is local availability of parts. Cant say ive seen many polos other than the new GTIs that have had much money invested in them. Im sure ud be able to get stuff ordered in. Just may be a wait .

You wanna buy my coilovers? Rides rough, but it's like a little go kart! (is this the same model as mine?)

I sold this car 2 years ago. (STUPID ME)

I ended up putting in Weitec springs and it handled like a go-kart
