Brakes Pads for Polo 6N: 6N0698151C or 867 698 151

Hi all,

I need a technical advice, please. I want to replace the front brake pads of Polo 6N.

Check in ETKA and found out that there are two type of brakes pad:

1. 6N0 698 151C
2. 867 698 151

My question are:

Was Polo 6N1 fitted with 2 different type Calipers? Therefore before buying the brake pads, I need to know which Caliper that I am using.

Was it the disc rotor (vented or solid) that will determine which pads to be used?

Are these pads interchangeable? i.e. I can use either 6N0698151C or 867 698 151.

I called a VW part department, without getting any exact determination. They suggest to bring a sample of the pads.
