MK1 polo parts in Australia

Are there any?? Here in the UK its almost impossible to track parts down. Am i right in thinking mk1 polos were never sold in Australia?

yep, no mk 1 polo parts here.

we never got much in the way of volkswagens, well ever. Only ever got a selection of the range. even new models, we don't always get the complete range. D'oh!

I thought as much since theres no build threads etc. Struggling to find most parts for mine. I wish it was as easy as golfs to get bits for. I'll never moan about hunting for golf parts again!
