Wow! So cool. Interior looks mint. Always wanted one of these polos.
I'm lucky, or sad enough to own a Mk1 Polo.
It's one of the oldest examples in the UK, and I saved it from a scrap yard for £50 about 10 years ago.
Here's a couple of pics..If you'd like to read more check out my build thread on Edition 38 here
As I bought it, the day we towed it home.
I taught myself to weld on it, here it is mid project
with my mates old Crew Cab
trying on my SSP Fooks
it's been parked up for a few years now, i have put a 5 speed gearbox in it, but not driven it on the road since. I'm hoping to get a professional to tidy it up for me over the winter.
Hope you like it..

Cheers dude!
I always wanted one too - couldn't believe my luck when I saw it parked at the scrap yard ready to get stripped.
That's mental. Love it.
So glad you saved it from the scrapper, that's some amazing rust repair you did!
We never got the early Polos in Oz so it's great to see one on this forum, looks like it's a fun little car.
Cheers
Paul

My brother had one just like it. He restored it completely. He added chrome rims and grille inserts. I'll ask him for a picture today and post it later.
