Not Brisbane but i have only heard good things about Depulu Wheels at the gold coast, you could always freight your wheel to them.
First of all, im not asking for your opinion on safety of redrilled wheels and so couldnt be less interested in comments about how im going to plow through a school killing everyone in a 50kmradius when one of my structurally modified wheels break. Wheels are flat backed rs with heaps of metal there and so I will be redrilling them regardless.
Anyone had wheels redrilled around brisbane? Where will do it for a decent price?

Depulu wheels won't do redrilling. Other idea's people? I know there is people around who will do it
I was speaking to the rep from Rota (Australia) when I was trying to coax a set of blank Rota Grids out of them so I could have them drilled 5 x 112 to fit my Skoda. He wouldn't throw me a crumb on the blanks, but he did say that they have this mega-sqillion$ CNC machine that redrills and presses a special insert into the wheel to change the PCD. From (bad) memory, I think it was about $100 per wheel, but apparently was one of the safest methods to change PCD (according to Rota rep). You could try them; +61 (07) 5444 4784

Have you considered adaptors that are v popular in Europe? - then you wouldn't have to drill!

$100 per wheel is a lot more then I'm willing to pay. Have considered adapters but they would have to be very thick, and probably 2 piece, as the current stud pattern is a 4 stud and I need to change them to 5x100, so probably atleast 30mm thick each, and I bought these wheels becuase they are perfect offset the way they are at the moment, with the barrels pretty much taking up as much inner clearance as I have, meaning I can put some really nice deep lips on them, probably rocking a 9.5-10 inch wide rear and 8.5-9in front with some nice stretch. I have a different set of wheels for when I hit the track, so the wide redrilled wheels with tyres made for wheels 3 inches narrower are never going to be driven on hard.
Have found wheel revolution in slacks creek will do them for a reasonable price considering holes will need to be plugged and such. Guy sounded pretty knowledgeable. Unless someones had a bad experience or something with them, ill probably go with them

I know it a bit late now but maybe give Option 1 garage in Hamilton a call, it's all JDM stuff but they'll stretch tyres so would probably redrill too. Also doesn't vwconversions do hub conversions? That's gotta be pretty safe too.

Have already dropped them off at wheel revolution. the guy seemed pretty knowledgeable and showed me a set of rs theyd just done. Should be done soon, ill let you all know how they are when theyre done.
Am probably going to have option 1 garage do the tyres, didnt know they did wheels too, but never looked into it.

Can't wait for this to be finished are you going to come down for Nats?? Would love to see this in person
2014 Golf GTI PP - Pure White
Got them back on monday from wheel revolution, took a week longer then they had said theyd have them finished by, which was a little annoying but ohwell. Seems to have been done nicely, no scratches or anything which is nice considering I had already put a lot of time into painting them to a show finish and was a little worried about that. Would use them again.
