VIC: Mechanic suggestion for inspection & upcoming 60K service

Hi all,

Looking for a suggestion for an honest VW mechanic who has the time and willpower to do a pre-purchase inspection, this Saturday (at around 1/1:30pm), while wife waits patiently. We are purchasing a GTD (hopefully this Sat), from Berwick VW, and want to get it checked out before we finalise everything.

Can anyone suggest someone? I've made contact with Volkscare but haven;t heard back yet and ideally the mechanic would be a little closer to Berwick. But, anywhere that is recommended and has the time is best.

We also need a decent independent mechanic (for the long term; 60K service is coming up) so an independent would be good, too.

I'd offer but i'm on the other side of the city. Not really much to worry about on the GTDs really though.
