    Smash Repairs Cost/thoughts

    Smash Repairs Cost/thoughts-image-jpg

Hi guys. From what I've seen Charlie Battisti in melbourne is a strongly recommended place. Given the damage seen here what do you guys think the cost should be?
Also the door damage is no big deal as I suppose they could just replace the door panel if they wanted eas enough. However that damage on the next panel near to the wheel on Mk7s is made from a continuous piece of panel that comprises the entire roof as well I believe?

    Just looking to get thoughts.

Why guessing the cost. Simply go to a few repair shops and get a quote.

Because it's Sunday and I felt like getting a vague idea in advance. Plus what people's thoughts are on repairability of this

    Liquid paper.

Seriously though, is the metal bent, or is it paint/undercoat damage?

Charlie has yet to send the quote but their initial guess is 3-4 k maybe. They said they'd just replace the door entirely with a new one hence the higher cost.

The decent repairers will replace the door. The cheaper ones will bog and sand it. If you have a choice I would go the new door every time.
