Hey just out of interest, how do you do it yourself? I've tried sandblasting wheels in cabinets at my friend's places and none of them are strong enough to take the wheel back to 100% bare metal! Is there anything special you use?Originally Posted by blutopless2

nothing special that i have had to use (its a work sandblaster so may be stronger than a home cabinet type). depends upon the condition of the paint etc but so far have not had a problem with getting things back to bare metal. done everything from engine tinware (from old bugs), fuel tanks, steering and suspension parts etc. others at work have done wheels also without issue.

hi.
anyone knows anywhere else for powdercoating wheels in central/eastern melbourne?
went to wheels solution @ richmond and got a quote of $700 for 4wheels - 4days work.
seems abit pricey when compared to the above - $35 for each wheel.
mods are endless once started
