Place to get ApR exhaust in sydney???

    Hi all
Ive decided to go with getting an APR rsc exhaust system for my golf R for warranty and support issues.
Spoke with muller and muller who quoted
$3600 for turbo back exhaust Fitted
    Or
$2600 for cat back exhaust fitted.

I was wondering if anyone has bought either of these APR products recently and could recommend someone? And how much you were able to get the price down to.
They did say that the price may be a little negotiable, especially if i also got a stage one tune (about $1200)

    What are your thoughts?

BWAauto are an APR agent - they've done heaps of good work for me - reasonable labour charges also

If you get the APR downpipe the stage2 tune comes with it for free

No idea about cat/turbo back exhausts

If you can wait..... APR do have sales a couple of times a year. They have 15% off ECU tunes until 26th April...

Any idea if theres any chance of further reductions off the rrp+15% off deals?? For tunes?

Do they really make a difference to improve fuel economy, and is power increase really noticeable (stage 1 only)??

Fuel economy is not really different with stage 1.. get a free trial of the APR tune and see what you think before you part with your $$. 15% is about as big a reduction in price as I have seen.

what is the difference in real world driving and economy terms with
    regards to getting
stage 1 vs stage 1+ and stage 2 tunes?

do they get more expensive ? there is only a price of $1495 for stage 1 tune on the apr.com.au site.

Stage 2 would be full exhaust and intake, check the website as to what the exact components are needed. Apr tune is included for these upgrades.
There are also stage 2 + which add intercooler and or high pressure fuel pump.
Fuel economy will depend on your driving power doesn't come for free. I average about 520 km from a tank Stage 2 and pretuning was 600ish.
