    Which mk of Golf?

Milltek do a DPF delete dp and they do single silencer systems too.

You won't get one in Australia though for legal reasons.

If you do that, you'd need a DPF delete tune, and as that's illegal you won't find many tuners openly offering that service. I can do it, but never have, given a normal tune is a good result on that car, and you can wash out DPF's quite easily these days.

Your car will also produce a ton of soot, the back of your car will be forever dirty, and it's glaringly obvious like those old 4x4's getting around. You can achieve it for sure, but realise the downsides too. If you get busted by RTA, you'll be asked to return to stock / get a fine, the chances are low, but I know it has happened.

Non dpf tune shouldn't be to difficult. Loads of euro 4 or maybe 5 (I cannot remember which) Tdi's don't have a dpf, but do have a cat. Including my Caddy van.

I'd go for a high flow cat, no dpf and a straight through pipe. That should keep it legal and reduce any smoke.

    Are you kidding?

    Not legal, much more soot.

Very different engine, emission spec and situation to your caddy mate.
