    GSF Car Parts

Just looking for any feedback on GSF Car Parts - who else has used them? http://www.gsfcarparts.com/index.html

Over here in the UK there are 2 big players in the spares markets when it comes to VW's. Euro Car Parts and GSF (German Swedish and French). I personally use GSF all the time, prices are competitive plus i do get trade rates for being a regular customer in my local branch.

Obviously can't comment on ordering from Australia tho, but they are a big company over here so i'm sure they aren't going to stich anyone up.

GBP to AUD at the moment seems to be in a good position so I'm thinking of ordering through GSF! Do you have a link to Euro Car Parts by any chance Bazza?

I've ordered through GSF. They were very helpful. They were the only place I could get Scirocco handbrake cables from at the time. I needed them to put discs on the rear of my MK1.

They are certainly helpful at the stores over there and last time I ordered which was about 2 years ago they were pretty good as well.

I think there are quite a few items they list that they dont have stock of though.
1986 MkII Golf GTI 16V (Sold), 2005 MkV Golf GTI (Sold), 2007 Polo GTI (Sold), 2011 Polo 66TDI (Selling), 2012 Passat 125 TDI Bluemotion, 2013 Scirocco R (Due October!)

I have used GSF. They are good. I find its better to phone em up and place the order, speak to a person.

Remind em you dont need to pay VAT as its for export. I then get em to email confirmation of postage details and all is well.

Make sure they are sending it airmail if you want it this year....

    Here you go mate.

    http://www.eurocarparts.com/

If you want to call direct you could try my mate Jon who works at the branch of GSF in Portsmouth as branch manager. He is very knowledgeable about all things VW and generally very helpful.
