Great start to the new year.... Mate just scratched my GTI... Help Please!!!

My mate reversed his car along side mine with his rear passenger door open. His door has banged into the rear right side of my car and there is a pretty decent scratch on the paint work.

From what I can see, there is no dint
From what I can feel, the paint still feels smooth.

I need to take my car to someone in Melbourne to get this fixed. Cost is not an issue as my mate will be paying for the damages. But I want it done properly.

I also have a scratch on the lip of my rear bumper, because I pulled my mountain bike out of my boot and one of the gears hit the bumper bar as it was pulled out, so there is a decent black mark on my bumper bar, and you can feel it when you run your finger over it.

I also have a tiny chip in my bonnet.

So I figure I can now get it all fixed at the same time.

    What are peoples recommendations?

    Regards,

I'm not really sure what you're asking for here, since this is the MK6 forum.
Do you want the Bodywork/Trim & Detailing Forum (Restoration, repair tips and experiences) ?
Or do you want the Recommended Repairers and Parts Suppliers?

I'm guessing at the 2nd. If you wanted the 1st, then let me know and I'll move it.
But please just post things in the correct place to start with - makes it much easier

There is no dent, and the paint is still smooth? Erm.. what is wrong with it? Does it just need a minor buff? Even then though it should feel rough, shouldnt it?

Its great to see your mate is paying for what sounds like minor, damage.

I think before I can help, I need to see a pic.
    Cheers
