Is your Mk6 a DSG or manual?

I find heel-and-toe hard to execute on the GTI's floor hinged pedal. How do you do it?

My feet are so big I can press the brake with the ball of my big toe and then role the outside of my foot onto the throttle. I don't actually use my heel.

How about a qualification; how many DSG owners are licenced to drive a manual?

Even if you got your license driving an auto you'd no longer be restricted to them after you get off your P's (in VIC) - although I believe that's changed now in the last year or 2.

Between my wife and I we have 5 licenses and they include manuals.

We both got manual licenses before most if not all on this forum were in primary school, actually, most weren't born

When I got my license they wouldn't let you take the test in an auto.

Still the same. I got my P's in auto and then two years later got it in manual just after getting my Polo. Got off my P's this month.
