I thought i read somewhere that some audi options were more, and in other cases some VW options cost more..
Might be wrong (doubt it).
I was looking at an S3 but nah a TT-S $120K is way more than I have for a car at this stage. Even $60's was pushing it.
Once you pass $80K you in a different league of car, especially over the $100K barrier.
As for the Scirocco R, I reckon it looks good. I reckon it looks better than the Golf the more I look at it. But the whole reason I love my new R is because its a sleeper and only those in the know will know its potential (and wait times!).
Scirocco on 20s will look like EURO porn. But I like mine soft not haardcore these days. Too many cameras, too many cops, too many school zones.. it all made me this way!!And I guess I must be getting a biit older cause Im over the whole "extravegant entrance"
with my flairing ride..
So thats my view. Looks mad, not for me and my R though.

Yes, you are wrong!
The only time an Audi option is cheaper, is because you're just paying the difference between what is already included and the extra functionality to match the Volkswagen option. For example, Park Assist on the S3 is only $950 instead of $1400 on the GTI. But that's because the S3 already comes with parking sensors, etc.
