Fuchs is a good oil. Been around for years.
If your tdi has a dpf then you need a 507 spec oil. Neither oil you mentioned reaches that spec. The oil Umai linked to is the correct one.
Yeah he does but I was curious about Fuchs vs liqui moly as I haven't heard much about it.

On a side note, I'm after liqui moly top tec 4200 which meets 504/507 standards. Anyone know Where's a cheap place to buy it from? Looked at autobarn and it is retailing at close to 110 bucks. Thanks

It's good stuff. Been using it in customer's cars for 3 years.
Would recommend the 4100 in the later TSI motors though. Seems to slow down the rate of oil consumption considerably.
