Thread: What's the average age of a new Golf buyer/owner...?

  1. #51

Well, i'm 23, female, technically single.... although been with my partner for nearly 4 years, and i recently bought myself a Mk6 118TSi. i guess I'm professional, working as a remedial massage therapist and vet nurse.

My justification: we have way too many vehicles. about 9 are in our garage atm. 4 motorbikes and 1 car are ours. and as we're planning to get a mortgage in the next few years, i figured having a decent, long living car to see most of the debt through hopefully would be a good idea. so i'm paying off my car - he only rides the bikes - while my partner saves for a house deposit.

so to shrink our garage, i'm selling my old corolla (bought for a whopping $500 ) and my motorbike, and buying a new car. and my partner is selling one of his motorbikes. Growing up and selling all your toys sucks

Felt i had to say all that so people didn't assume i'm an a-typical gen y with no regard for debt took me 2 months to settle on a car and work up the courage to get a loan. lol.

Not in my case, I chose the car, but since the goal posts have now been shifted I have edited my previous post in this thread.

38 years old. Self Employed I.T Consultant most of the time. Wannabe poker pro the rest of the time.

My clients bought most of my GTI for me 'cause they refuse to follow simple instructions and paid for it accordingly! The rest came from poker donkeys donating their chips at the virtual tables

Full credit to you. And what better way to blow a huge pile of cash than on a new GTI.

I'm 49 and sold my Beautifully restored 65 beetle (which went like stink by the way) to get the Gti Pirelli
I nearly had a Pajero squash me one day and I decided i'd give my self a chance of living longer by getting a golf
Why a Gti, well I drove one once!
