I'm 52 and am an amateur! I'm waiting for my new GTI but currently have my MINI Cooper S and Honda CB954RR fireblade to play with...Oh as well as my PS3! I'm not old- just born early.

Apparently I'm now considered ineligible for the poll since my Golf was purchased 'by others'...

Mmmm. well.. I'm a Non GTI Golf owner in WA, so from the above I must be a younger women, but I'm not. I'm in the first category (i.e. 35 - 55, Male, Professional) however I do not have a GTI.. Ooooops. maybe I should've bought one.. Oh, that's right, I didn't have enough money. Does that mean I'm not as professional as I think I am..

btw - I wanted the GTI ... does that count!

    23, new GTI, semi-professional.
Whilst I'll always have a soft spot for sporty Japanese cars (Lancer Evo's, STI's, 350z's, S2000 etc), the Golf is far more pleasant in almost every respect whilst not attracting unwanted attention or insurance premiums.

The 118TSI is my wife's. She is a 49 yo professional. I will not tell her she is too old to have a Golf, lest I lose a couple of things I am very attached to.
