Actually, there is nothing which says it isn't for OEM stuff.
The shifter knobs are one example. Cargo organisation is another. Mirror glass is another. Wheels. Intercoolers. Brake packages.
I'm just not sure what the differentiation of this thread is...

I didn't mention OEM stuff. I just used that as an example. I want to know if there are any PARTS off another VAG model that will fit onto a MK6. Eg:

    Can I fit Audi S3 springs to a Mk6?
Will the rear lights from a Skoda fit a Passat?
Which intercoolers are bigger yet still fit the same?
Which brakes from Audi/Skoda/Lambo/Fiat etc can I fit/use?

I thought it was pretty self explanatory really.

With all respect there isn't any real difference. You're splitting hairs here........

    - 99% of MKV VW Golf GTI parts fit the MKV VW Jetta (e.g a Golf GTI to a Jetta TFSI, both use same engine, same brakes, etc...so thus the aftermarket support is virtually the same. The exhaust like, catback and such and bodykits would be slightly different from the rear door back as the Jetta is a sedan and the Golf is a hatch. Front lips, engine stuff, interior parts, suspension etc is all virtually the same)

    - S3 intercooler can be installed on the MK5 GTI/MK6 GTI/MK6 R

    - S3 brakes F+R fit our cars given enough clearance from the wheels (as theyre the same as the MK5 R32/MK6 R)

    - Porsche front brakes BBK can fit our cars given enough clearance from the wheels (will obviously need bigger rotors)

    - RS4/RS6 front brakes BBK can also fit our cars

    - Audi S3 S-tronic shifter can be changed and fitted to replace the DSG shifter (need a tiny bit of custom work to make it work)

    - MK6 VW GTI steering wheel can be fitted to the MK5 VW Golf (MK4 VW golf too for that matter)

Thats all I can think of off the top of my head

Is that true? r207 tried to fit the Mk6 wheel to his R36 (which is a mk5 wheel) however it couldnt be fitted without an adapter as the wheels connection points are different or something like that?!? Maybe its just the R36.

From memory, yes, but coding will be required and you may need the slipring from the audi steering wheel to make it work on the VW. ANd not all of the buttons on the audi MFSW will work. (And depends which audi steering wheel...i just know an S3/TT MK2 wheel will work on the MK5, but cant say for sure for others)

What Audi springs will fit the Mk6?

Does the audi centre console/shifter bit fit? I've always liked the hollow cutout that the Audi has:
