Ask Ashlee (get to her via the "contact us" page on their website. I never discussed a group buy with them, but it's worth asking.

Only suggestion I'd make is the logo - GTI or R - could be a bit smaller, and more subtle.
I agree - in hindsight the logo could be a touch smaller, but the size of the logo is something i forgot to discuss with them.

Yes the can do the outside borders in a range of colours to match the car (red / blue / green etc). Black is definetly available as it would be what they would use for most standard mats.

PS - the borders on mine are actually a silver/grey colour, but they look white in the photos. I asked for that colour to try and match the united grey paint on my car.

PPS - i now have a set of stock Golf R mats if anyone wants a cheap set. Only done 9,000km and are in excellent cond.

These forums are dangerous... I have purchased more things for my car
Firstly, the same mats as Lucas, but with blue edging (we shall see what they look like when I get them, thanks for the tips Lucas on the other forums... btw, my seat inserts are a silver colour so would have matched, the stock mats have a silver edging also actually).... and now:

Saturday project to finally fit my CAI

p.s. another option for the heel pads on the mats from the place Lucas got them from:

Well, I'm close to pushing the button on this, but if someone is in the process of investigating a group buy I'll hold off a few days. Otherwise, they seem like decent value as-is, as long as they're sturdy good quality mats.

Adam (and anyone else thinking of getting the floor mats), i can assure you that they are very good quality (much better than the OEM mats). Im extremely fussy with my car, so i wouldnt be saying this if i wasnt 100% satisfied with them. You will love them.

    - OEM plastic clips/mat holders for the front mats
    - nice quality carpet
    - variety of colours for outer bordering
    - GTI / TSI / R etc logo patch on each mat
    - non slip rubber backing
    - heel pad available

FYI - mine took about 2 weeks to arrive after paying for them.

I actually prefer the rubber genuine mats from VW. I tend to put too much water and dirt/mud onto carpet mats, and they look like crap after a while......same goes for the rear mats where school kids get in and out of the car.

The forum just makes you want to buy more. Here is a list of upgrades I have done to my Mk6 GTI

    Revo Stage 1 Tune
    18" RS6 Replicas + Continental ContiSport5
Bi-xenon + LED DRL headlight upgrade (coupled with Morimoto 3Five D2S)
R LED taillights (tinted red + fog light)
Colour matched fogs with 8000K halogen bulbs
    LED license plate light upgrade
Akrapovic linkpipe + slip on system with CF exhaust tips

That's what has happened so far but looking into these:
    VW Monster mats
VW GTI scuff plates (recommendations anyone?)
Revo intake OR Forge Twintake (if it fits)
Revozport front bumper + LED DRL fitting coupled with CF front splitter
    KW street comfort coilovers

Find me a set of two door scuff plates which do not say GTI or R on them?? Seems finding something for the cabriolet is harder said than done
