AFAIK, no Mk6 Golfs sold in Australia have the electrically folding mirrors specified, or available.

I have the folders on my RXLexus where they come in handy, absolutely no idea why you would need them on a little golf.

They act good to keep people away from the sides of my car !

I bought some R badged ones one night for no reason

They look good but don't want to stick them on if they only last a few weeks

I'm thinking of getting these:

I wasn't sure about taping them on at first but have done some research and everyone's rapt with them, one person has used them for 3 years and has done track days without any signs of them coming off. Someone else lives in sunny Florid and the temps doesn't cause issue with the tape. One other person noticed that the S2P ones don't have that +/- LEDs on them that light up at night, where you keep that with the Maniac ones.

There are other colours there as well (search the net for more photos on Mk6 Golfs). I only wish I saw them before I ordered the FMIC so I could combine shipping. I'm not in a rush to order them just yet but will keep an eye on them and see if anyone sells them for less.
