Yep, side skirts are what they're usually called.

Several of the usual suspects carry them (as per the first page of the thread), including ECS Tuning:
    Volkswagen Golf VI 2.0T > Exterior > Body > Side Skirts > ES#1931428 Golf VI GTI Side Skirts - Kit - 5K0853855

Best of all, ECS Tuning gives you the part numbers so you can do further investigation for sourcing (including from local dealer's spare parts etc)...

Thank you for the help. As i said earlier , it may help to make the mud flaps look better.

I have noticed that most Golfs do not have mud flaps where i have always had them added to my cars, maybe i am old fashioned.

    Again thanks.

maybe... I guess it's just that they don't really help on a Golf. The dirtiest part of the entire car is always the hatch, mud-flaps or not, and there ain't much you can do to help that

The Upgrades for my GTI I am aiming to get are:

    - LED Tail Lights
    - LED Number Plate Light
    - Warning Triangle
    - First Aid Kit
    - Luggage Net
    - GTI Floor Mats (Debating between UK and Aussie ones)
    - OSIR Foot Rest

    CODING:
    - Sunroof Auto Close with Rain
    - Needle Sweep
    - LED Tail light fix.

Unfortunately don't have the spare cash right now to get it all!

Although I did just upgrade my RNS510 Maps to V4.

After having a week to stare at my Clarivue RNS510 protector... anti-glare... i confirm that it's useless. The glare levels are actually the same, there is absolutely no difference. The only advantage of the protector is it makes the RNS510 screen less prone to fingerprint marks. But the downside of it having little bubbles rule that out.

    ....I'm removing it.

Installed the Garage Door pushbutton mod yesterday.
A simple but very handy modification.
The hardest part was removing the gear shift surround. I cut a section out of a Chinese takeaway container lid and slid it into the gap between the two plastic assemblies. Then it's simply a matter of carefully lifting the surround up and out.
The buttons and covers are available here.
The mechanics of the mod are explained here.
Power for the LED's comes from the Electronic Stability Program (ESP) button connection.
Just piggyback the buttons and covers off this connection.

This piece of Chinese takeaway container lid was used to remove the gear shift surround without damaging any plastic parts..
