6% lamin-x fitted to headlights/fogs
Fitted my Clarivue screen protector yesterday. I completely forgot about Corey's advice to trim before fitting. It made my life so much harder because I would have to take it off and put it on numerous times. That led to dust getting in with many air bubbles. Thankfully i managed to squish out most of those air bubbles because I don't think I can peel it off again!

This would make a suitable accessory to my Black holy crapoly

lamin-x classify it as the 6% option, I am assuming they work backwards as the 12% option is very dark.
obvious its not 6% or it would be completely blacked out limo style..
id say its true about the 95% part also.
main purpose was I do a lot of hwy driving and it obviously wont stop a stone from smashing a lense but it will help with small pebbles and such, that and it matches the rear smoked R lights imo.
the options are :
Clear (20 mil)
Tint 6% (17 mil)
Gunsmoke 12% (17 mil)
Optic Blue (12 mil)
Yellow (17mil)
not the best example as its a dark image (o/cast in sydney lately) but this is with the DRL's on

Aaah, so maybe the 6% equates to 94% VLT or something like that (which they just round to 95%)
Exactly, not sure why they have advertised it this way though as they use the same % system in the US with general tinting as us obviously.
They come pre-cut for about $50 USD (headlights and fogs) I initially wanted fogs only but thought I'd try it out on the lights - can be easily removed anyway.
I had Dave at reflect effect install them as apparently they aren't that easy to DIY

Personally... I'd probably just get Dave @ Reflect Effect (or Rob at Hunters Hill Tint, or whoever is doing your window tint) to also do your headlights at the same time.
They're skilled enough to cut straight and do this job from their stock of tint.
And whether you buy this Lamin-Ex or use your tint guys tint brand, either way is illegal in Australia!
