+1. Almost $300 just for a different looking shift knob isn't cheap at all.

Rear mudflaps from Burwin VW ($80 just for the rear set)
    VCDS from Ross-Tech
Boot organiser from SuperCheap (has velcro to stick to the carpet)

Does anyone know if I can get metal racing pedals (i.e. GTI ones) for the 118 TSI? I also wouldn't mind getting the DSG shifter from the GTI as well, but can live without it if need be. Paddles would've been nice, but at $2000 I might as well save the money towards a Mk7 GTI.

I might also get a weathershield for the driver door, and rear mats (car came with front ones). Illuminated door sills would be cool, but I can only imagine that they would cost a pretty penny. They might also make me look too chav as well.
Hey just wondering, did you just take the RNS-510 to an audio place and put it in. Still working great? Same with the bluetooth!? Thanks

Installed it all myself - still working great. I still never got around to enabling voice control but truth be told I prefer having the Pause/Mute button on my steering wheel instead of it.

No car..but the parts keep coming.

I thought it would be wise to purchase all of my parts before the car turned up in March..little did I think that it's actually getting more and more depressing the more that the parts start arriving on my doorstep.

I just wanted to take this chance to talk about the quality & experience from the few vendors I have been buying parts from.

    Milltek -

Purchased the non-resonated turbo back system from them 8-9 days ago, the first part arrived today. The buying experience was extremely pleasant and they were professional in all stages of the delievery and customer service process. I purchased the part through ebay and was a little unsure of how smooth the process would be.

The product itself is stunning, the weld quailty and polish of the stainless through to the brand and product tagging in the final process of build. The packing was done well and the product itself arrived in perfect condition showing some signs of postal abuse but adequately protected by the packaging. Now I just have to wait to hear this mumma.

    APR -

I purchased the Carbonio filter for $200 including shipping from a vendor in the states, this is quite a lessor amount to what is offered through any Australian vendors and found it not so hard to part with the money knowing I was saving big time!

Still waiting on the HF pump, & IC. I will review postage and delivery process on their arrival.

    Revozport -

Still waiting on front splitter & Carbon spoiler. So far everything has run smoothly, let's just see how well they packaged the products for arrival.

And here are some images, enjoy!
