weird sound from rear of car when pressing gas pedal

hi guys,
i have a 118tsi, since last week every time i press on the gas pedal, "eeek" sound will come out from the rear of the car. Example, when cruising at 60, I take my foot off the pedal and step on it again, the sound will come out.It is really loud especially when I have the window down.
Any idea what's happening/breaking ???

Does it sound like a squeal, or a belt slipping? There's a known issue with the 118TSI and squealing on acceleration; see this thread:

I think AdamD is correct- probably the super charger chirp that a lot of us get. Mine started at 2000km and is now improving quite a bit at 15000km. Still there though
