Hey, does anybody know where the year and week number of build is stamped on the mk6 wagon? I've looked everywhere and can't find it. A mate of mine is picking his up tomorrow and just wants to check it matches what he is buying.

But now I'm confused, because this seems to say 1908. Where mine is a May 2010. Does this mean mine was built in week 19 of 2008?

On my mk6 Golf the build and compliance plate are located left of the spare wheel well riveted to the floor pan. Our Jetta is on the right side of the spare wheel well.

Thanks guys, I just checked mine again, and it is rivited next the spare wheel well. Built MAR/10. Which is a bit of relief.
