Would it be better/more convenient to have opticoat applied before fitting the shields?

Btw, i got weathershields off Barloworld Volkswagen in Glen Waverly for $102.20. I think thats the cheapest. Burin VW quoted me $120...
To Rob_R it doesn't really matter if you do opticoat before or after, because the weathershields are not attached to do paint, but more on the rubber edges of the door frame.

I have the weather shields on my 3dr mk6 gti. Cost me $70. I installed them about 2 weeks ago. I was a bit worried about how they would look but i think they look fine. Do a great job of keeping the rain out while being able to keep your window cracked open a bit (as you'd hope).
All i did was call Denlo parts and order them in, just asked for weathershields to suit the 3 door mk6.
2006 - 2009 = MY02 VW Golf IV GL - Reflex Silver
2009 - 2015 = MY10 VW Golf VI GTI - Candy White
2015 - 2018 = MY13 VW Tiguan 103TDI - Night Blue
2018 - current = MY18 VW Tiguan Adventure 110TDI - Atlantic Blue
