VW Golf GTI Styling by Rieger

Rieger has released a few details regarding a new styling kit for the Volkswagen Golf GTI. Performance figures were not announced so all we have at the moment is the body kit. This bodykit consists of a front lip spoiler kit with a fibre glass mesh and ABS inserts for cars with foglight ribs. Rieger made sure it fits in with the existing bumper.

There is a carbon fibre lip spoiler middle splitter, side skirts with cutouts, a roof spoiler and a rear bumper diffuser. The exhaust features a muffler with dual oval tips and an ESD exhaust sound control system. GTIs fitted with Park Assist will get a separate installation kit. Rims and tyres used are VA 8.5Jx20 ET 38s with 235/30-20 and HA 8.5Jx20 ET 38s with 235/30-20 front and rear respectively.

I'm sure the ride quality would be just wonderful with 20" Rims. Probably as nice as the styling

Naturally the first thing one would think of when looking at a body kit manufacturer's photoshoot

Most body kits don't do much for me just look more ricey, although this is better than some I've seen.

The white sections on the front grille look ok, bit more like the MK5 styling.

The rear diffuser looks the same, just piano black or something??

I like a quality bodykit, when its a bit more than sublte, but not over the top.

G-rig, to me 'ricer' means something that looks like the creators of the "Power Rangers" have designed it

(It's got two extra vertical dividers under the numberlate area, whereas the regular GTI only has two, just to the inside of the exhaust pipes).
