Anyone here work for VW?

Does anyone know when more info will be posted to the people who are attending the track day.

Some of us are making the Trek from WA, but difficult to book car hire etc without knowing start/finish times etc.

I got the email today saying that it starts at 12:45pm.
Other than that they said to wear sensible clothes and that the day will go for about 3 hours.

BUT...they also said "We will not be able to accommodate any friends or family members, even as spectators, so please come alone" which is not the greatest news as i was hoping to watch my old man.

I have a different email, that states turn up at 9.30am and that it will go for 3 hours. So there must be 2 sessions.

Me too. That means I'll need to leave Canberra at 5am.

I was wondering how they were going to fill a WHOLE day on the car.

Mine's a 9.30 start.
Obviously there are multiple starting times,while one lot's doing one thing,others will be out on the Track,and vice-versa.
Try not to break too many cars Liam.Leave some for us......

So it's gonna be similar to Beemer's track day event, participants split to 3 groups doing slalom, wet spin, and track. The obligatory infomercial and spiel would also take almost an hour. The actual track driving would probably be only 30 minutes for 2 Ppl sharing a car, so that's 15 minutes of actual track driving. Gotta make the most of the 15 minutes Ppl.
