Hi folks. New to the GTI after coming from an R36. Picking up a new GTI Adidas this week and looking for your thoughts on the best managebale upgrades to boost the power and exhaust a bit. Any suggestions?

As per team_v, an ECU flash will give you good gains for very little coin. There are a number of exhaust options out there, so you'll find something that suits your requirements (more power, more sound, etc).

They're not a factory option, no. You'd need to organise a swap (plus cash) with your dealer - assuming they'd be willing to trade, and I'd say that'd be a stretch. Your best bet for 19s is probably going to be reps, or eBay (but the 18s will be much easier to locate than the desirable 19s).
