and why not i think we should all wright to head office protecting his rights which in
in the end protecting all of our rights in the future when we buy our next new dub. I always say group action and be loud if we have to,or as individuals will just keep happening to us and its just sad

To "borrow" an ECU from another car would require the dealer to raise a warranty case for the other car so that the replacement ECU could be ordered for that car. Then the borrowed ECU would need to be re-programmed to the now incorrect VIN numbered vehicle.

This is an altogether wrong process to attempt, and I can't imagine any dealer doing this.

No and a new one has to be adapted to your car by dealer or mechanic with the right gear.
