I would like to make two points.
1. A manufacturing defect will hopefully show up very early in a product life. The worst types are intermittant faults.
2. In my case, VW asked me to participate in a quality survey. Came a few weeks after car delivered. A very good way to provide feedback re satisfaction level either with car or dealer.
MY13 Passat 130TDI Sedan. Autumn Brown Metalic, Desert Beige seats. Sat nav, Rev camera, Dynaudio, 12way adj seats. No ACC Previous Golf 118 TSI with ACC given to my son
LOL I'll say! My last brand new car ate a tailshaft assembly near day 1 (and again another 3 times). No one ever appologised, or even gave me a loan car. Longest wait of the 4 "repairs" was over 2 weeks. Car disposed off and brand never to be purchased EVER again.
In the OP's case, it will be all good. Sounds like a minor issue that will be resolved. I've got a couple rattles, is it a lemon? Nah, the monkey doing the tint probably didn't refit the door trips properly (or left a knife in there lol).
But without customers, business wouldnt exist
completely agree with all of the above. I understand all the frustration going around. But I would be seeing this fault as an "uncommon" fault due to the time its taking to get the part in, correct? If it was a known fault (which would be hard to identify so early in the release) then i would assume the OP would have his shiny new Golf back in his driveway by now
Be patient mate, VW's are great cars and definitely (as above) have a good rep for reliability, AND resale! I cant see this being a lemon in the future

Will keep update the progress!
Has anyone had throttle related fault before?
It's not customers that keep you in business, it's your own persona which will attract or repel them. Business is easy???
FWIW I've been in my own business for 19 years, and have had dealings with thousands of customers. Most of them have been great, but as all business people will know, some customers are lemons, and some are downright obnoxious and overt liars. And worst of all, some bounce cheques and think it's funny - only two rsoles ever did that to me, and both regretted it deeply.
The same goes in reverse for business owners, of course.

Agreed. It takes two to tango. One provides goods and/or services, the other one pays for it. You need co operation for it to work effectively from both parties. The automotive industry is no different.
