VChecker Pro - does it work with MK6

My Vchecker Professional plugs into my MK6, but when I follow the instructions to read the fault codes as follows:
Select 1. Control Modules
Select 01. Engine Electronics
I get a prompt which is not in the manual.

Can Bus
Non-Canbus mode

I've tried both the above options, but it leads to a comm error message.

On the back of my VChecker Professional is lists:
CAN Bus
KWP2000
KWP1281


So my question is, has anyone else go a Vchecker Professional like mine that works with their MK6?

I don't have the actual VChecker device you are talking about - but your MK6 has the CANBUS system so you will want it set to CANBUS mode.

For what its worth, every device i have plugged into my car has worked (Ross Tech VCDS / ElmScan / DNA Tuning hand controller / Bluefin hand controller).
