using the multifunction wheel to scroll through radio presets

as the title suggests, is there a way to program the car so the up down buttons on the wheel go to your 6 presets or what ever rather than scanning to the nearest frequency? something ive wondered about for ages

i should add that i have VAGcom and i am afraid to use it ...

I believe so - just stumbled across it the other day after wondering the same thing.

From memory, it's a setting on the audio unit (I have base model audio) - something like "Scan Mode" with options for "Seek" or "Presets". Setting to "Presets" gives the desired behaviour.

As per the owners manual for the RNS-510. You go to the setup, then radio setup, and then you change the option for arrow keys. It'd be currently setup for Station List in your car. Change it to Memory list.
